Tribotool GmbH develops a wide variety of systems for measuring individual operating parameters through to complete monitoring systems, e.g., for monitoring the operating status of entire machine systems. One example of this is the measurement and evaluation of corrosive wear, also known as the corrosive wear indicator (CWI), in 2-stroke crosshead engines.
For this, different sensors – such as temperature, pressure, humidity, etc. – and various existing measuring devices are linked in order to provide meaningful information on the evaluation of operating conditions for operators of engine systems. Based on this information, rapid decisions can be made to prevent damage to machines, save costs, and optimize operation.
